This page explains what information Ambe Cab & Taxi Service collects through this website, why, and how it is used. It applies to https://ambecab.in and to bookings made by phone or WhatsApp.

Information we collect

When you use the booking form or the contact form, we collect the details you enter: your name, mobile number, pickup and drop locations, journey type, vehicle preference, date and time, number of passengers, and any message you add. If you contact us by phone or WhatsApp, we see the number you use to reach us and whatever you tell us about your trip.

How we use this information

We use your details only to arrange, confirm and carry out your taxi booking, and to contact you about that booking. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for marketing you have not asked for.

Where booking information is stored

Booking requests submitted through this website are stored on our server and are also sent to our booking email address, abs@gmail.com, so that a member of our team can act on them. We keep this information only as long as needed to arrange your trip and for basic business record-keeping.

Cookies and technical data

This website uses a single technical session cookie to keep the booking form secure while you fill it in (to prevent a type of abuse called cross-site request forgery). We do not currently use analytics or advertising cookies. If that changes, we will update this page.

Sharing your information

We do not share your information with third parties, except where necessary to arrange your trip (for example, with the driver assigned to your booking) or where required by law.

WhatsApp and phone communication

If you contact us on WhatsApp, your conversation is subject to WhatsApp's own privacy policy, since WhatsApp is operated by a separate company. We use WhatsApp only to communicate with you about your trip.

Your choices

You can ask us what information we hold about a booking you made, or ask us to delete it once the trip is complete, by contacting us at abs@gmail.com or by phone.

Children

This website and our booking process are intended for use by adults arranging travel. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this page from time to time as our services change. The date at the top shows when it was last revised.

Terms of Booking

Making a booking

A booking is only confirmed once we have contacted you to confirm the vehicle, driver and fare. Submitting the online form or sending a message is a request; it does not by itself guarantee a car on your chosen date and time.

Fares

Fares depend on the vehicle, distance, trip type and other factors described on our fare page. We aim to confirm the fare with you before your trip. Toll, parking, state-entry charges and similar costs are, unless we tell you otherwise, paid separately as per actual.

Changes and cancellations

If your plans change, please tell us as early as possible by phone or WhatsApp so we can adjust or release the booking. We handle changes and cancellations on a case-by-case basis and will discuss this with you directly rather than apply a fixed penalty we have not agreed with you.

Passenger conduct and safety

We ask passengers to treat drivers and vehicles with respect, to wear seatbelts where fitted, and to let us know in advance about any special requirements, such as extra luggage or assistance for elderly or young passengers.

Limitation

We take reasonable care in providing this service, but travel is subject to road, weather and traffic conditions beyond our control, and we cannot guarantee exact arrival times.
